Evie : Month 16 : It's official: Evie is a KID. Not a baby, not an infant. She is a full-fledged kid. She has all this spunk and attitude and these huge laughs. She knows what she wants, and it's usually whatever is in your hand (or your mouth). If Mommy is drinking it, eating it, or reading it -- it must be good! Evie got a visit from Grandma Nonna this month, which was very exciting. She also got suspended from daycare for biting two kids in one day. Oh the fun has just begun! :)

Evie : Month 13 : It's my birthday! Evie celebrated the big day with no less than four parties in her honor. On the day itself she engaged in a cake nibbling celebration with Mommy, Daddy, and Aunt Lynn, as well as a very cool celebration with all of her friends at school. She even got to wear a crown as Queen of Daycare. A couple of weeks later she got two more parties -- one with all her friends and Gymboree, and another at home with friends and family. Evie is one very loved girl!

Evie : Month 12 : Little Miss Personality had a great time visiting her future home -- The White House -- this month! She made the big trip to D.C. for her cousin Tim's wedding, and as a bonus she got to see her Grandma too. Evie has mastered standing up and is gaining confidence. She even takes a step or two from time to time. She's even done a couple of quick runs from person to table and back.

Evie : Month 11 : Evie is a willful little thing! This month she developed even more attitude: laughing, screaming, crying, and giggling at all times. She knows what she wants and is into everything. Evie visted the aquarium this month and loved the fish and birds. She also saw her first snow during a visit to Toronto!

Evie : Month 10 : Just as quick as Evie was crawling, she started pulling up to a stand! She loves her new play table -- it is the perfect height to stand at. Evie is a spunky little thing who knows exactly what she wants and how she wants it. And she is not afraid to tell you about it! Evie still eats all homemade food from mommy -- everything from bananas to kiwi, mango, apple, pears, carrots, broccoli, sweet potato, squash and more. She also looooves cottage cheese and yogurt. She has even started eating hard boiled egg yolks, and is a big fan of them as a sidedish to her main meal.

Evie : Month 9 : Evie goes mobile! This month Evie finally mastered the art of crawling, and used to to dig into anything and everything she could reach. Her new favorite toy is the newspaper, which she pulls out from under the coffee table. She then removes each page, and carefully rips a select few into tiny pieces. This month Evie visited Kansas for Aunt Stephie's wedding, where she met lots of new family including her Great Grandpa.

Evie : In Hawaii! : On December 28th, Evie took her first ever plane trip! Evie, Mommy, and Daddy jetted off to the island of Kauai, Hawaii. Evie was a perfect Angel on the plane -- no crying at all and a lot of sleeping. She even laughed when the plane bounced on touchdown. Evie loved Hawaii and wants to go back as soon as possible. Her favorite parts of the trip were Puka Dog, all the cute clothes she got to wear (matching with Mommy even), and the neat pool at the resort!

Evie : Month 8 : Evie is almost crawling now, and she is just so much more mobile. Right before her 8-month birthday she crawled 5 steps! Before that she got around by crawling a step and then throwing her body forward onto the ground. Evie celebrated her first Christmas this month and was extremely spoiled by mommy, daddy, aunts, uncles, Grandparents and Santa. She got all kinds of neat toys, CDs, her own little house, and even some bongos that daddy is going to teach her to play. Evie has become very opinionated. She knows what she wants -- and especially what she doesn't want! She giggles and laughs, and loves to have her tummy kissed (this is always sure to make her squeal with delight!). Oh, and of course her favorite toys are 1) daddy's glasses, 2) anything that is not actually a toy (paper, keys, spoons).

Evie : Month 7 : Evie, or as we now call her "Angel Pie," is quite the independent little spirit these days. She enjoys her Saturday Kindermusik class with Daddy and her Gym Crawlers class with Mommy. She has met lots of new friends there and loves the singing and dancing. However, when given the choice, Angel would almost always prefer playing on the floor with toys to being held by those silly adults that want to smother her non-stop! Angel had a great Thanksgiving with family and friends, and then was spoiled with early Christmas celebrations with both Grandma Susan and Grandma Stevana. Maybe next month she will finally grow a tooth or two!

Evie : Month 6 : Happy Halloween! This month Evie celebrated the holiday by dressing up as a White Tiger and "trick-or-treating" at daycare with her friends. Evie laughs and smiles all the time now, and a few days before her 6 monnth birthday she got up on her hands and knees. She still has no teeth, but mommy says it won't be long now. Evie also stayed with a babysitter for the first time ever this month while Mommy and Daddy went to their friends' wedding. She had a ton of fun hanging out and playing with Uncle Andy and Aunt Lynn!

Evie : Month 5 : Evie is really developing a personality now! She smiles constantly -- especially first thing in the morning. Daddy dresses her every morning and Evie has been named Best Dressed in her class at school. She is extremely curious and looks at everything around her. She always wants to be standing up, and loves to receive Kiss Attacks from mama and daddy!

Evie : Month 2 : Evie is one month old! She is growing up so fast. Even though mom and dad started to see the first smiles at 3.5 weeks, Evie started to smile regularly this month. Visiting with Grandma Susan made her smile a lot! Evie even slept through the night this month .. 7 hours straight! Mom and dad were impressed.
